As the band come to the end of their incredible ‘Comin of Age’ tour, the band can’t believe how their career’s have amplified in the past year, playing to thousands of fans all over the world. With the album & tour marking their tenth year together, the guys were determined this was going to be their time to shine. The guys have been clocking up huge air miles to bring their unique brand of music to fans all over the world. They headlined the annual St Patrick’s Festival in Dubai, headlined at Gramsbergen Irish Festival in Holland and thrilled crowds in Spain and Switzerland.Of course, The Logues have also managed to squeeze in huge gigs and festivals at home, including Dalriada, Gig n the Bann, Dergfest, Wake the Giants, Electric Picnic festivals and the huge Dublin All-Ireland Champions homecoming, with over 10,000 attendees.The latest album, ‘Comin’ Of Age’ was a long time coming, and with this bands sheer talent we hope the next won’t be too far away.

Ireland over the years sure has produced some excellent talent in music, so much so that I would cheekily like to go as far as saying it’s on its way of becoming the real capital of music in the world. ;).. Musicians from all over the globe are drawn to our emerald isle in order to hone their craft and continue to play alongside real musicians who are in appreciation of what real music is. Raw, eccentric, eclectic, colourful & playful. With that in mind it is a credit to our musical island to welcome artists from all backgrounds who will undoubtedly be of great asset to the scene.
One of these musicians is non other than Natty Wailer. A singer, musician and song writer who rehearsed, recorded and toured with the legend that is Bob Marley and the Wailers for over nine years and is now a renowned reggae Artist in his own right, residing in Ireland. What an honour that sure is to our small country.

Natty’s accompanied by his band ” The Reggae Vibes” who are all seasoned Jamaican reggae musicians.
Natty Wailer himself is from and inspired by the old school Reggae of the legendary Bob Marley and the Wailers and during his time spent with the star he lent his formidable keyboarding skills proudly to the music icon. As a result Natty has learnt the music trade to the extent of adapting the formula for making good music while spreading the importance of history and culture in his own beautiful and insightful way.
After leaving the Wailers in 2000, he found his own entourage “Natty Wailer and the Reggae Vibes” with the main purpose of continuing this tradition. Ireland sure is in for a treat !!!

One of Ireland’s most celebrated and treasured singer songwriters Gilbert O’Sullivan is due to play the prestigious Last Night BBC Proms In The Park on 09th September 2017. BBC Proms in the Park events offer live concerts featuring high-profile artists and well-loved presenters.
1970’s sensation Gilbert O’Sullivan joins a stellar line up of legendary musicians such as Texas, Michael Ball, The Kinks and Steps to name a few. The Last Night promises to be an unforgettable evening of wonderful sounds produced by formidable talent.
BBC Proms in the Park is one of Britain’s largest open-air classical music event and a truly spectacular annual outdoor concert full of eccentricity, taking place in London’s Hyde Park. 09th of September is the closing night of the two-month classical music festival – the main evening performance culminates in a live link-up with the Royal Albert Hall for the traditional Last Night finale, so you can join in with audiences across the nations and enjoy the one & only Gilbert O’Sullivan’s performance live.
Last year Gilbert embarked on his 50th Anniversary Tour across the globe including the UK and Ireland, with tour dates added in 2017. With it came the release of ‘The Essential Collection’. Excitingly Gilbert O’Sullivan is currently working on brand new songs with a highly anticipated album in the works. To catch the legendary musician live in Ireland you can do so at the end of November. His concerts are definitely one not to be missed and always a one of a kind spectacle.
Hailing from Germany myself and having resided on this gorgeous Island for close to 17 years there have been a few surprises I have learned along the way. Yes, the Irish are full of “the craic” and the country is covered in greenery and sheep, surrounded by oceans but one admittedly known fact that struck me the most is how much the Irish love their music, GOOD music. Not everyone will make the cut and whatever venue you visit for a gig you will be assured talent rather than just some band hoping to “strut their stuff”. The Irish folk are all about “raw talent” – a band or musician that doesn’t just stand in front of a mic to mime to a backing track but knows how to work multiple instruments and harbour a clever grasp of lyrical genius. The music fan I have always been appreciated the realness this country celebrates and I cannot but *bow* to the appreciation that the Irish hold in high regard for the acts they celebrate. So much so that I would like to call myself an Irish when it comes to the music I listen to and enjoy watching live.
Luck has it I got myself a job in one of Ireland’s most credible music agencies and therefore have been enjoying the pleasure of being introduced to the BEST in Irish music such as the legendary Aslan, as well as The 4 Of Us and gorgeous musical story tellers like Declan O’Rouke, Paddy Casey and Brian Kennedy – not to forget the electrifying Ryan Sheridan, thought-provoking Rubberbandits, Indie rockstars The Coronas & Keywest, but also the international artists that hone their craft and take music seriously instead of just “performing to become famous”.

Paddy Casey has been at the forefront of the Irish music scene since releasing his debut album Amen (So Be It) in 1999, while his second release Living became the biggest seller in Ireland out-selling U2.
As one of Ireland’s most popular artists Paddy has had the pleasure of sharing the stage with U2 on their Vertigo Tour, while also selling a week long sold out residencies in Dublin’s prestigious Olympia Theatre and RDS. He has also featured heavily on the international stage having been invited onto and performed on the Hit American CBS Chat Show ” The Late Show” with David Letterman.
After a five-year hiatus, Paddy Casey returned with his fourth album The Secret Life Of on November 9th 2012. It was recorded, produced and mixed at home in Paddy’s kitchen by Paddy and Pat Donne. More recently, Paddy released a compilation album featuring 18 of his best and most popular songs including Sweet Suburban Sky, Whatever Gets You True, The Lucky One, Saints & Sinners and Fear, as well as some of his more recent tracks.

The not only wonderfully talented but also authentic & original Singer / Songwriter Sarah Packiam has released her latest single of her much anticipated forthcoming third studio album ‘Again’.
“Messed Up”, the second single taken from the upcoming record already proves a big hit with fans and critics alike and undoubtedly will leave Sarah’s followers crave for more.. ‘Again’ will be made available on May 15th, 2015.

“Messed Up” was written by Sarah and Marthin Chan and produced by Tim Mitchell who has previously worked with array of celebrated musicians, such as Shakira, Gloria Estefan and Jon Secada. The music video was shot by director Milcho on location in the whereabouts of the LA/Vegas desert.
Sarah will be promoting her new single as well as her upcoming album during a promo tour starting in mid May, with dates to be confirmed shortly in New York, Philadelphia, Austin, Nashville and Miami, before heading to Europe on the first week of June. A little information about Sarah Packiam
Born and raised in Ireland, Sarah began writing songs at the age of 12. At the age of 18 Sarah and her family moved to Spain where she performed regularly in bars and nightclubs in the family band. She was discovered and brought to Miami by Jon Secada and was taken under his wing, co writing and being produced by Tim Mitchell. Sarah’s first Independent CD “One for two” was released in February 2012 and her EP “Dream” was released in May 2013. Sarah plays regularly in the Miami music scene.
Rob Higgins’ Brain Child: ‘Phoebe St.’ (‘Make Love’ mini-doc)
Rob Higgins could be described as a bit of a musically creative whirlwind, lending his talent as a skilled bassist to numerous bands, touring with Juliette Lewis and My Chemical Romance (to name a few) and then he went about to “accidentally” form his very own Alternative/Rock project, the effervescent Dearly Beloved.
Touring extensively with various bands, producing records, recording in the desert, regenerating a bit of himself by himself and letting his mind wander towards new musical outlets and creations, all has guided him towards his own studio in Toronto’s Phoebe Street and a lovely, introspective documentary: ‘Phoebe Street’ (‘Make Love’ Mini Doc) -which focuses on local independent artists “who make a living doing what they love.”

The talented Singer/Songwriter, who adds depth and credibility to his songs – creating Hit Singles time and time again, may likely be the busiest artist Ireland has to offer, touring the emerald Island continuously year in / year out.
