Famous for his dynamic and roof-raising performances, Paddy plays both piano and trombone and is member of groups such a FFF (French Funk Federation) a multi-award winning cult French funk band signed to EPIC then Virgin. Who won two “Victoires de la Musique” for Best Album and Best Live Band. FFF plays International festivals from Budapest to Buenos Aires including mainstage at Glastonbury. Paddy also performs trombone in P18 a Cuban-Jungle project with Tom Dar from “La Mano Negra”. He has performed with international artists such as David Gilmour, John Lord, Ian Paice, the James Brown band, Woody Allens’ New Orleans band, Tom McGuinness (Manfred Mann), Barbero (Sierra Maestra band), Phoenix, Liz McComb, Linda Hopkins, Gonzales, Brisa Roché, Bost & Bim, Rachel Des Bois (Victoire de la musique) and Eric Toulis.
He surprised his audiences in France by releasing his latest album, Dusk, a very special, intimate and personal opus to stunning reviews in 2021. released on Black Ash Records Dusk won album of the week in Rolling Stone magazine, Album of the month on FiP radio, Album of the week on TSF radio, Decouverte of the week in Telerama magazine. Rolling Stone said: “the man feasts in an intimate voyage from Tom Waits to Paul MacCartney passing through Van Morrison…An agreeably outdated sound for an album that shows real character in its artistic expression.”
After years spent in Paris Paddy is keen to reconnect with his Irish audience and community. He is announcing a string of Irish shows this coming autumn and winter.
